What am I doing now?

Early this month, I finished up my final contract as a freelance vfx artist on a Naked and Afraid-related property.

Later in the month, I spent a couple weeks serving on a jury, and some weekends solving escape rooms and DASH 12 in Southern California.

Freelance avails: Available, but not bothered.

One of the growing pains of a niche hobby reaching a critical mass and reaching a broader audience is a kind of homogenization. It’s when the fun of tracking down an obscure diamond in the rough is replaced by an amazon wishlist. Kind of saps the joy out of it for me. (Anyway, terpeca nomination season is now open.)
